Sometimes you may sand the floor stain it and tint it to where it looks 100 percent better. White vinegar is known to have a disinfectant and deodorizing effect which can help with your pet stains.

Leave each towel on each blemished spot for a few hours and check repeatedly every hour to see if the stain is coming up. Clean up any excrement and then blot the entire area with paper towels. Wash the area with white vinegar rinse with warm water then blot dry. First scrub the spots with a peroxide soaked cloth and let them dry.

Removing the stains requires an oxidizing and bleaching agent like hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide is non toxic and effectively cleans germs and bacteria as well as undesirable odor. Factory or pre finished wood floors can be more affected more by cat urine than are site finished wood floors.
